An Airbus A330-343 carrying around 250 passengers in Saudi Flight, including Hajj pilgrims, landed safely in Lucknow After Technical Snaga technical problem during its journey from Saudi Arabia.

Lucknow:
Smoke was spotted coming from the aircraft’s left wheel as it landed at Lucknow Airport. Officials said the problem likely came from a hydraulic leak in the landing gear.

The Saudi flight to Hajj Pilgrims had left Jeddah at 10:45 p.m. and reached Lucknow around 6:50 a.m. based on tracking information from Flightradar24.

In a separate case, a Lufthansa flight to Hyderabad made a mid-air U-turn and returned to Frankfurt after receiving a bomb threat.

The Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner took off from Frankfurt at 2:14 p.m. local time on Sunday. The threat came about two hours after takeoff. The flight was expected to land at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport early Monday.

However, Lufthansa later stated that the return was due to not receiving permission to land in Hyderabad, not because of the bomb threat.

This event came just days after a deadly crash involving Air India. On Thursday, a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner crashed into a building. The crash killed everyone onboard except one passenger.
