Iran Restarts International FlightsIran Restarts International Flights

Iran has reopened to international air travel after a short break. The first foreign plane just landed at Imam Khomeini International Airport.

A Flydubai flight came from the United Arab Emirates. It touched down on Wednesday. The news was shared by Iran’s Civil Aviation Organisation spokesperson, Mehdi Ramezani.

He said the flight was cleared after careful security checks and diplomatic talks. Many teams worked together to make it happen.

Ramezani explained this step as a “new phase of stability” for Iran’s skies. The country had paused flights because of recent issues with Israel. But now, he says, things are getting back to normal.

Iran international flights will be start again, but only to certain places. These decisions will be made with the help of local authorities.

The goal is to help the people travel again & reconnect air routes. Ramezani stressed that the changes will happen slowly and carefully.

Just last month, Iran and Israel agreed to stop fighting. Their 12-day conflict had caused serious damage. Israel had attacked many military and nuclear areas. In response, Iran launched missiles at Israeli targets.

The truce was put in place by the United States. As part of the deal, the U.S. dropped large bombs—called “bunker-busters”—on Iran’s major nuclear sites.

Now that the fighting has stopped, Iran international flights are coming back. The country hopes for peace in the skies & also safe travel ahead.
